Toyota Tundra

The new generation Toyota Tundra was introduced for 2007’s model year. In the beginning the Tundra appeared to be a good replacement for it’s predecessors, the Chevrolet Silverado or the Dodge Ram 1500. Since the other pickups available on the market changed throughout the several years, Toyota seemed to neglect the Tundra. The Tundra is now in a state of disrepair. Toyota Tundra feels outdated compared with its competitors.

This Japanese manufacturer is currently working on a completely new Toyota Tundra pickup truck that could be launched by 2022. The V8 motor that is currently available is set to be eliminated in favor of a dual-turbo V6 engine, according to reports.

The Tacoma is among the most sought-after compact pickups within the United States. In actual fact, Toyota sold nearly a quarter of 1 million copies of the Tacoma in the year 2019, setting the record for all-time records. The current sales data proves that the Tacoma is far superior over the previously-described Toyota Tundra.

Since Toyota is clearly dominating this compact-truck market by introducing the Tacoma and Tundra, a revamp of the midsize truck isn’t quite as urgent as the redesign of the Tundra. According to several sources, a brand new Tacoma could be on the market in 2022.
