Honda Ridgeline

Ridgeline Ridgeline is a mid-sized pickup truck that has been manufactured in 2004 by Honda since 2004, however the latest model was announced in the 2017 model year. The Ridgeline is available in a body type with a crew-cab, powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that is available in six various trims. The pickup was designed to compete with trucks such as those of the Toyota Tacoma.

Because the truck is only two years old, it’s likely to be replaced with the latest model in the near future. However its sales figures aren’t particularly impressive with only 33,334 units sold within the US. A new version of the Ridgeline is probably to be in the near future, but its successor hasn’t been announced yet.

Volkswagen Amarok

There was a time when Volkswagen had teased US buyers with a pickup truck to the American market several times. There was the Volkswagen Tarok and the Atlas Tanoak both appeared at auto exhibitions across the United States, though neither of them had ever made it into production.

Despite trying to entice on the US market with stunning concept vehicles, the top executives of Volkswagen claim that a pickup truck designed specifically for specifically for the North American market is not planned. According to reports that should Volkswagen was to introduce an automobile pickup to the US market, it will most likely be inspired by the Ford Ranger, rather than the larger truck.
